The most important ways to prevent infection with the new Coronavirus

The most important measures to prevent infection with the new CORONA virus are:

1- Clean your hands thoroughly, rubbing an alcoholic disinfectant into your hands or washing with soap and water for 20 seconds.

2. Keep at least one meter (3 feet) between you and anyone who coughs or sneezes.

3- Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth.

4- Social spacing: Avoid shaking hands, kissing and hugging, stay away from exchanging all things of the patient with cough and cold symptoms, avoid all crowded closed areas such as schools, airports, crowded workplaces, public transport, cinemas, cafes, restaurants, closed markets... Except for necessity.

5- Stay home if you feel sick. If you have a fever, cough and difficulty breathing, seek medical attention and contact your caregiver before going to him.

6- Ensure that surfaces and objects that we frequently touch are disinfected with a medical alcohol solution of 60% to 70% such as regular cologne or using an extended chloral solution (1 tablespoon in a liter of water).

7- Use appropriate paper muzzles when mixing with others, especially in crowded places.

8- Make sure that you and those around you follow good hygiene practices. This means covering your mouth and nose with your tampon or paper napkin when coughing or sneezing, and then getting rid of the used napkin immediately.

9- Washing contaminated clothes and fabrics using water and soap and drying them with heat or by exposure directly to the sun.

10. Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in the new Corona. Follow the advice from your health care provider, national and local public health authorities or employer on how to protect yourself and others from the disease.
